Face Painting Booking Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the booking of face painting services ("Services") provided by Yellow Bird Face Painting ("Provider") to the client ("Client"). By booking our Services, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. Booking Process:

 

1.1 To book our Services, the Client must provide all necessary details including event date, time, location, and any specific requests.

2. Payment:

 

2.1 A deposit may be required to secure the booking, which will be communicated to the Client during the booking process.

 

2.2 The remaining balance is due on the day of the event, prior to the commencement of the Services.

 

2.3 Payments can be made via cash, credit/debit card, or any other method agreed upon between the Client and the Provider.

2.4 Any extra time required on the day will be billed and payed within 7 days.

 

 

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling:

 

3.1 Cancellations made by the Client must be communicated to the Provider as soon as possible.

 

3.2 Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the event, unless otherwise agreed upon.

 

3.3 The Artist reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Services due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness. All efforts will be made to provide an alternative arrangement or a full refund of any payments made.

3.4 In the event of extreme weather it is up to the client to provide adequate shelter or a suitable alternative venue

 

 

4. Conduct and Safety:

 

4.1 The Client agrees to provide a safe and suitable area for the provision of the Services, including access to water and adequate lighting.

 

4.2 The Artist reserves the right to refuse to provide services if the Client fails to provide a safe environment or if there are concerns regarding the conduct of attendees.

 

4.3 Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during the provision of the Services.

 

 

5. Health and Hygiene:

5.1 The Provider will use high-quality, non-toxic face paints and adhere to strict hygiene standards during the provision of the Services.

 

5.2 The Client agrees to inform the Provider of any allergies or skin sensitivities prior to the commencement of the Services.

5.3   Due to the risk of infection, anyone who appears to be suffering from a cold sore, runny nose, conjunctivitis, or any other infectious skin complaint, or who has an open sore or irritation will not have their face painted.  The Artist may choose to paint one cheek, or the back of the hand as this skin is less sensitive.

 

 

6. Liability:

 

6.1 The Provider will not be liable for any allergic reactions or skin irritations that may occur as a result of the Services, provided that all reasonable precautions have been taken.

7. Intellectual Property:

 

7.1 The Client grants the Provider permission to use photographs or videos of the face painting for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon.

 

7.2 All intellectual property rights relating to the face painting designs remain the property of the Provider.

 

 

8. Amendments:

 

8.1 These Terms may be amended or updated by the Provider from time to time. The Client will be notified of any changes prior to booking confirmation.
